Once upon a time, when most people couldn't even spell 'Ethernet', and when 230 kbps was considered 'FAST', was also the time when LocalTalk connection kits were rather expensive.

The picture below shows LocalTalk connectors of our own design. They could be built for about $15 including the case. 'Real' ones were about 10 times more expensive.
